The breakfast had plenty of options, including breads, pastries and meats. Staff were attentive, room was quiet and immaculate with view. The location was incredible, just a pleasant stroll away from Church of Sao Nicolau.

Very special location, simple continental breakfast with plenty of food. Easy walk to the unspoiled beach. Btw, went to city centre, located not too far from the hotel. Room was authentic: very big bed, luxury bathroom. The venue provided snacks in the lobby...

A genuine hotel with always courteous staff and a FRESH breakfast. I enjoyed that the room was carpeted and well-stocked. It was not far from wineries, the Douro valley, isolated location overall. .
Disappointing aspect was tiny bathroom.

The location of the hotel in Mesao Frio is Amazing. We loved the surroundings that provided a valley and mountains. A private kitchen was a big plus. Friendly staff all round❤
